1. Place the document on a flat surface.
2. Use the voice command 'Take Picture' to avoid motion blur (instead of tapping the iPhone's screen).
3. Take the picture carefully and in good light. If it looks blurry on preview, use the Retake button to take a new shot.

The most popular Windows alternative is Adobe Acrobat DC. It's not free, so if you're looking for a free alternative, you could try Tesseract or FreeOCR. If that doesn't suit you, our users.
